Festivals or Mela are an intrinsic element of the Baul Fakiri practice. Mahotsav and Sadhuseba are two key elements in rural Bengal with the Baul fakirs. Sadhuseba is based at Akhras, which is basically seat of learning with Guru Sishya parampara (master-disciple tradition), may be seen as Soulful congregation of the musicians and celebrating togetherness.

Mela-s such as those organized in Joydeb-Kenduli,  Birbhum and those organized by the Government, Baul Fakiri Utsav-s are being organized by Shaktigarh Mela Committee at Kolkata and Banglanatak dot com in rural Bengal for over a decade. Come and experience the soulful music of the Bauls at Joydev Kenduli, you can also enjoy the Baul Fakiri music at Gorbhanga, Nadia and Jalangi, Murshidabad.
